Western Pieces!

Lately I've gotten three requests to make western pieces. So I have decided to offer a line of western pendants and night lights. I already had a cowboy night light and now I have designed a cowgirl one as well.

Here are a few of the pendants I have for the line so far.

This pendant is reversible, one side with an initial...
border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282261534459535490" />

...and the other side reads "cowgirl".

The final pendant in the collection so far, is this cowboy on a wild bronc.

This pendant is also reversible and the other side reads "Ride 'em Cowboy!".

I will be listing them on etsy very soon...so stayed tuned!

New Pendants!

I ordered some new glass beads the other day, and I just couldn't wait to get something made from them! These glass beads are about 1.25" round and they are flat on both sides. The other large glass beads that I was using was flat on one side and a round dome on the other side. I was buying my old beads from the floral / wedding section of Hobby Lobby and in each sack would be only a few that I could actually use. Lots of them had scratches, nicks, or were iodized. I am loving the new beads because they have no scratches, nicks and they are non-Iridized. Well anyways...here are three charms that I made with the new glass.

P.S. If you are interested in purchasing any of these pendants they are available for sale in my etsy shop~ www.lanisvintage.etsy.com

My Creative Space

Here is the place where I go to create. It is a little room in my basement that I made into my studio!

I just love the feel of the room with the light green walls (my favorite color)! I especially love my 50's retro desk, file cabinet, and tables...I got all four pieces for $1 each!

When I am in my studio creating I like to listen to Sirus Radio Top 40 hits, Sirus the Pulse, or just watch a favorite TV show!

Here is where I solder my charms~

My German glass glitters...stored in a old spice rack~

I'm off now to create more goodies! :)
