Plastic Animals

A few weeks ago I was in the mood to snap some photos. So I rounded up some of my son's plastic zoo animals, dinosaurs and two of my old iron banks. I am really pleased with how they turned out...I think that they would be a GREAT addition to any little boys room, or any room for that matter. I listed two of them on etsy the other day (www.objectsofaffection.etsy.com) and I plan to list them all eventually.

I never know if my photos are any good...I just know that I like them. Please let me have your feedback!

IT'S A BOY!! :0

My nephew Evan is now a big brother! I just got the call from my mom...my sister had a boy! Rowan Avery is his name and he weighed 8 pounds 14.5 ounces. I've been waiting for the news this morning...and now I need to go get in the shower and run to the school to tell my daughter. I was instructed to let her know right when I found out. I think she might be a little disappointed...as she was hoping for a girl cousin. It is funny...through out my sister's pregnancy I was thinking she would have a girl, but today I could only think that it would be a boy! We are going to Denver to meet him tonight...I can hardly wait! :) I will try to post pictures soon.

Wish List Wednesday - Baby Day

Oh happy day! My sister's due date for baby #2 is today! Of course, who knows if baby will come today or not...we'll see. She is scheduled to have a c-section on Friday at 7 a.m., and I can't wait to meet baby. We do not know if she will have a boy or girl, so I kept the wish list gender neutral. All the goodies included are things I would like to buy once we meet baby. My nephew is going to be a big bother...yay!

New Pendants!

I ordered some new glass beads the other day, and I just couldn't wait to get something made from them! These glass beads are about 1.25" round and they are flat on both sides. The other large glass beads that I was using was flat on one side and a round dome on the other side. I was buying my old beads from the floral / wedding section of Hobby Lobby and in each sack would be only a few that I could actually use. Lots of them had scratches, nicks, or were iodized. I am loving the new beads because they have no scratches, nicks and they are non-Iridized. Well anyways...here are three charms that I made with the new glass.

P.S. If you are interested in purchasing any of these pendants they are available for sale in my etsy shop~ www.lanisvintage.etsy.com
