Gifts I've given...to my nephew!

My goodness how time flies...my nephew just turned 1 on April 6th! It seems like yesterday we were all anxiously awaiting his arrival into this world. I have loved seeing him once a month for the past year and seeing the amazing changes that happen in just a short time. He is such a busy little guy...he has been walking since he was 7 months old! It never really seems that he was a baby, he was born 10 pounds 4 ounces (my poor sister)! :0

"the handbook to handmade" is a monthly volume of 35 ETSY artists and their shops...this is a promotional tool that is used to help promote artists and etsy. the first volume was a success, with a great mix of artists from 35 different cities from around the world.

I love vintage...cards!

I was at an auction some years ago and I came across a big metal tin. When I opened it up I found over one hundred vintage cards from the 1980's! I just had to have it...and I did get the whole tin for only $1.00!! I guess no one around my little town thought that they were as cool as I did! I've had them for sale in my little B&M shop since...and I sell a few here and there. I have recently been listing them in my newly opened etsy shop - www.lanisphotos.etsy.com. I have sold 2 so far and I've got lots more to list. There is some pretty funny ones...one the I like is this one below ~

Indy...thinks she's a movie star!

Meet Indy my beatiful black lab! My daughter was just dying to dress her up...so she found a scarf and some sunglasses and managed to put them on her! The funny thing is, she didn't mind wearing them! I guess she thinks that she is a movie star! It is really funny to see different dogs personalitys, and she has lots of personality! :)

Cowboy Night Light ~ NEW!

I have long been wanting to make a western night light...and I finally got this one made! In the area that I live, country/western is very popular and so I want to offer some more western items! Please let me know what you think of this one! :)
